Hi, I dont take credit for the methods used, I re-wrote the script to perform a true and complete one click solution:

WORKS FOR iPOD Touch and iPHONE

Select either iPOD or iPHONE when asked.

jailbreak.toc2rta.com seems to be a bit flakey so there is now a mirror here:

jailbreak.rfidsecurity.com

No need to downgrade firmware from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2

Performs:

Jailbreak
Installs Installer.app (Updated to 3.0 b4)
Installs anySim.app (1.1.1)
Installs SSH
Activates
Fixes YouTube

UPDATE!!

Hi, ANYONE who is having the problem of patchfstab.exe crashing......

It crashes if the file it is trying to patch is 0 bytes long.

In the dos box,

You will get the following:

AMDeviceStartService 'com.apple.afc' : 0
shell: Reading Script
File Size: 314572800

NOW IMPORTANT, the VERY next line should be:

Reading 33554432 bytes, 281018368 bytes remain

If that is NOT there and there is an error, probably this one:

getfile: Failed to get the Remote File: 8
Nothing Left to Do. Exiting

Then the re-run the Safari Browser crash, it failed and didnt make the root r/w

I have tried jailbreak.toc2rta.com and it is down more than it is up at present

My Mirror jailbreak.rfidsecurity.com is online and working!!

Close the dos box, re-run the Safari carsh and you should be good to go again!!

** UPDATE ***

If Anyone is having the problem where the phone 'hangs' when trying to end the phonecall the second time round, When dialling 0 (zero) answer the call and press HOLD instead of Ending the call - This doesnt hang...

do you need to SSH at any point in this? because i'm at school and don't have wifi....so thats why ive been waiting on an ibrick type one-click method to release... is this like that? or do i need wifi to complete the steps?

edit: ok , you need wifi woops. saw the help file.. buttttttt.......will this work even if your not unlocking? just upgrading? do you skip the begining steps if so?

I think you should have your homepage at Google code. That would make it easier for you to post updates etc.

Hi, Yes the unlocking bit is optional, it will install anySIM, If you think it would be better, i can add a 'do you wish to install anySIM' prompt instead??

So, in the meantime, if you dont want to unlock, simply dont run anySIM

Hi, I never claimed it to be anything new

There is one simple difference between this and many other posts based around the same method...

This one, you simply run the file, and apart from a few reboots, thats it.

Jailbreaked, activated, unlocked and youtube fixed. All in ONE go.

I looked at loads of the other methods and one or other steps were always left out.

Either not activated, not unlocked or youtube didnt work.

This is MUCH easier for new users as there is nothing for them to do after crashing safari other than clicking an icon....

Quick question, just got a new iphone firmware 1.1.1. Activate and using a at&t sim card and jailbreak it with the 1 click method found on this site. Installed everything I needed, BSD system, community source, openssh, etc. Now I want to unlock it just incase I go overseas and use different sim cards. How do I get started? Also what's the difference between Anysim and Iunlocker?I've been reading everything and now I think it's confusing me. Thanks

Go back and check you have written down the correct IP Address.

I've just got a question: what method did you use for activating? I'm working on a gui one-click solution for activation to go along with iDemocracy (my project, pretty much a gui version of what you've done). However, the lockdownd solution seems to be causing problems on some iPhones.

Please get back to me on this.

EDIT: Just checked the batch file and I see you're doing the same thing... Maybe it's my YouTube Patcher that's causing the problems... Well, I'll figure it out eventually. Thanks for your work. I suggest you move your project to Google Code. It's a lot simpler to release updates, etc.

To I need to have an att sim installed when using this or can I have my subscribers sim even though they don't support iphone? Or should I just put in the sim that I don't use, but is an att sim and it came with the iphone.

how do you use this, if your phone is freshly restored with 1.1.1 firmware and legitiately activiated via att? Im just trying to jailbreak my phone so I can install software

Hi,

If its a 'New' phone, when you turn it on, it will already be in emergency calls only mode.

Slide the slider on the Avtivation screen...

If its not new (for example 1.0.2) BUT has NOT been previously unlocked using anySIM, iUnlock, the simplest thing is to dock it and let iTunes upgrade it to 1.1.1.

If it HAS been previously unlocked using the old anySIM or iUNLOCK then you will need to perform the DEV TEAMS re-virginizer.

It DOES work, one of my phones was an old anySIM jobbie and it Re-Virginized fine!

This process DOES work, ive done 8 today.....

Thanks for adding requests from other users, its much appreciated.

Do you know if your one-click method has the 300mb space & unable to sync to itunes issue? This is caused because the symlink is still there

rm /var/root/Media
mv /var/root/Media.old /var/root/Media

You can also this mirror to the jailbreak list http://jailbreak.kengz.com. Probably best having lots in case couple die at once.
