How Do You Access Hidden Applications WITHOUT Using Dock?

So, I've installed Caterpillar and that doesn't play nice with Dock.

The problem is that I really want to hide a lot of my applications. I don't just want them on a second or third page; I want them out of sight completely.

I can hide them using Poof, but if Poof and Installer are two of the applications I want hidden, how do I access all the application again later?

Dock was really useful in its unobtrusiveness. I replaced that sunburst with a blank image, and it made the phone look clean and organized. I want to get that same effect back, but still be able to use Caterpillar.

Any suggestions?

BossPrefs works great because you can hide anything you want but then add the hidden apps to the dock...
