sendsong still not working with 1.1.4 - i've done lots of research!

Hey I'm a newbie but have done plenty of research.
I've have a recently hacked iphone running 1.1.4.
I bought a song a on itunes on the phone and want to use it for an alarm.


I've done the following:

1) installed sendsong with installer. was able to see the song and set as ringtone and then set as alarm. but alarm doesn't play anything.

2) removed sendsong and reinstalled using cydia. sendsong runs but song doesn't show up in list.

3) removed sendsong. installed 1.1.4 compatibility patch. reinstalled sendsong using cydia. same result.

please help! thanks
