If you don't have a youtube account, you should open one. It's free and I have found it to be a great asset when searching for tutorials to help me with jailbreaking my itouch and my new Iphone. These forums are great but there's nothing like a visual to assist in your quest for answers. There are more than a few guys on youtube that are very knowledgeable and helpful. But that being said, you still need to do your homework and decide for yourself which ones really know what they're doing. The following link may help you, but as I said, do your research before you decide which instructions to follow.

Hi for all you if you update to the 2.0 version you probably update in the 04.05.01_G FW, to restore in the 1.1.4 you should downgrate the FW 04.04.05_G and do a restore in iTunes, to do this exist one way, install this package to erase your baseband. This can be found on ICLARIFIED (installer.iclarified.com) source in the installer, install the downgreat patch and you can do a restore and after use Ziphone or iLiberty+ and enjoy your iPhone

Hi all,
I Have been looking for a solution for my iPHONE that has the NO SERVICE problem and I have tested several alternatives presented here.
My question is. What is the correct bootloader needed in order to unsuccessful activate and unlock an iPHONE?
After update the firmware version to 1.1.4, I have installed BBInfo in order to know what is the installed bootloader. In my specific case, it is 3.9_M3S2.
What are the nest required steps in order to activate and unlock the iphone to any gsm SIM using iLiberty 1.3?
Thank you very much.
Sorry, I mean "What is the correct bootloader needed in order to SUCESSFUL activate and unlock an iPHONE?"

Your phone can be unlocked no matter what bootloader you have. The reason to downgrade your bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9 is so you can get the Locate Me feature to work on google maps. (That's the simple explanation). I iLiberty gives you the option to unlock (and keep 4.6) or unlock and downgrade to 3.9FB. The choice is up to you...
