Upraded to 1.4 can't get summerboard up

Upraded to 1.4 can't get summerboard up, after the upgrade, i had to uninstall all my apps, then reinstall, reason is they would appear in installer, but not on my springboard.....when i try to unistall summerboard v3.2 i get error main script execution failed! please help..
also, in installer, there are only about have the apps available nw that i upgraded to 1.4, whats the reason?
also, any app made by conceited software seams to fail to load.. reason?

First off, you should have done a "restore" before you upgraded to "clean out" the phone. This is the reason Installer is acting up, it thinks you have apps installed because there is "trash" in the file system.

Try doing a full restore. Or use a "refurbish" utility from one of the automated jailbreak apps out.
