Default iPad 2 WIFI disconnects from WIFI network when enabling MyWi tethering
    Hello,

Everytime I enable MyWi on my iPad 2 WIFI it disoonnects from the WIFI network. When disabling MyWi again, my iPad connects to the WIFI network again.
Tried WIFI tethering and MyWi on demand, but the issue stays.

    Anyone that knows a solution?

    thanks

Hi, from the Cydia MyWi page, it looks like you need at least an iPad 3 if you want to share the iPads Wifi connection over USB or its own hotspot.

I found the same - spent ages trying to work out why I couldn't tether WiFi through the iPad. I can through the iPhone 4S. The trick is to use the iPhone as the "registered device".

The iPhone is on v 5.1.1 and MyWi 5.5 and works perfectly with WiFi tethering.
The iPad is on v 6.1 and MyWi 6.0.14 and doesn't.

    Once I knew, it wasn't a problem!
