Sharing cat45 internet conn over WIFI
Just a quick question.
Is it possible to 'broadcast' my laptops cat45 internet connection into wifi by using my iphone (+MyWI) plugged in by USB? If so how would one go about doing so.
just to confirm... thats...
Modem > 10/100 router (cat45) > laptop > iphone (usb tethered) > wifi ?
Thanks in advance guys!!

You mean RJ45 jack (possibily CAT5 or CAT5e) right? Cat45 would be awesome but that doesn't exist, does it?
There is a piece of software that allows you to share your ethernet connection over WiFi that allows you to connect your iPhone to wirelessly connect to, Connectify. Great program, good luck setting up!
If that's not it, could you clarify which Internet connection you're using and what is trying to connect to that connection?
You can use the iphone's MyWi program to tether the iphone's WiFi connection to allow your PC to have Internet, but I don't think that's what you're trying to do...
