Different Wifi Icon on Mac after upgrading my iPhone to iOS 5

I just upgraded and jailbroke my CDMA iPhone 4. Now running iOS 5, with the latest MyWi installed.

It's working (almost all the time), but the thing is the wifi icon on my Mac menubar changed after upgrading my iPhone.

It used to be the regular Wifi icon showing strength and the "waves" expanding upward.

Now, it's this:

It's the Wifi icon in grey with a black chainlink on top of it. MyWi is set to infrastructure mode and I'm wondering what's up with this status icon that I've never seen before.

That's the icon you see if you're connected to an iPhone Hotspot.

Oh, that's new. Is it a change with iOS 5 or a change with the latest MyWi? Does this mean my phone is now recording the tethering as a hotspot and reporting it to Verizon?

I have no idea. It's just the icon I get when I use the iPhone's hotspot feature. I'm not familiar with MyWi. Maybe contact the developer.
