Help w/ MyWi Ondemand

I have MyWi installed on both my iPhone 3g (Firmware 3.1.3, Hotspot) and iPad 2 Wifi Only (Firmware 4.3.3, Client). I have successfully paired the two devices via Bluetooth and they show as Connected under Settings, however in MyWi they show as Not Connected or appear to get hung in Handshaking. Sometimes they will connect and work properly, but most of the time they won't.

Is there anything that I can do to improve the performance. As it is, the Ondemand Bluetooth tether is so unreliable that I might as well enter the app and setup Wifi anytime that I want to connect.

Great application overall, any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The two devices are clearly communicating with one another. When the iPad 2 comes off of Wifi, the Bluetooth icon on both devices flashes and then the Status Bar Icon for MyWi appears on both devices, but there is no "ding" sound and no internet connectivity.
