    Default Using MyWi in emergencies

I got MyWi last year to back up my DSL. I never Intended to use it as my main means to connect to the Internet. I have had to use it when our phone or electricity died. I even had to use it when no free WiFi was available. I guess, like most things: if you don't abuse the privilege, you're allowed to keep it.

I would agree. I use it at school when the school's wifi is being buggy or when I'm at work where I don't get wifi. But at home I'm strictly on wifi, which I pay a separate bill for roadrunner. Maybe if I used it as a means of my primary Internet source, then I'd pay Verizon for the wifi hotspot service, but I don't use mywi frequently enough to need verizon's (or any other carrier) expensive tethering addon.
