Battery icon moves to left over top signal bars

This has been happening for a while, and I can only find one forum post on the issue and its over on macrumors.com. Unfortunately there was no resolution to it. It appears to be related to the intellistatusbaricons that is installed with MyWi.
Sometimes, and I can't ever figure out the steps to reproduce the issue, but when I go into recent calls or my contact list, the battery icon will move all the way to the left. Sometimes when I load the call list, it will only move a few pixels to the left, but you can see it happen.
If I respring, it usually goes back to normal operation and will stay to the right.
I am using intellistatusbaricons 0.93 and I was hoping there would be a resolution or fix to this by now.
Surely I am not the only one experiencing this.

either that or no resolution can be found. best bet is to wait for a MyWi dev to look at this thread , which is usually the afternoons and they can get back at you (maybe)
