I installed this last night and my ondemand broke after the upgrade. It worked great with the previous version and then after the upgrade my ipad would not even attempt to connect to my iphone and when I attempted to manually connect it would get stuck in handshaking. I have a legit copy of mywi w/ ondemand on a 3GS ios 4.2.1 and an ipad 32gig 4.2.1. The only way to get it to connect was to deauthorize the ipad and establish a new connection but it would only connect the first time any attempts after that would not work.

I had trouble at first but realized that the MyWi sbsettings toggle was off

I can't get the toggle to become available on my phone. I set it in the sbsettings "set toggles" but after a respring it never appears so I can't turn it on unless there is another way.

I've had a few issues with this update as well. Unfortunately I haven't had time to sit down and focus on figuring it out if it's a user error or what, but I never had an issue with it before aside from the occasional reboot from OnDemand that they claim to have addressed.

exactly, they have effectively disabled mywi for all of us that have the 3GS unless there is some workaround.

Since the upgrade when I run my mywi, my laptop can pick the signal up and connect to the network, but it won't let me get on the internet. Also I cannot get my xbox live to connect through mywi like I used to before the upgrade. anyone having same problem or can help me out?

Kleppinm: Sorry - about your issues. Please pm me your email and we'll get it fixed. OnDemand is working for many users (not sure of your specific issue but let's get it fixed). We have not disabled MyWi for 3GS users - but yes, we've added the SBSettings toggle for 4.2.6+ iPhone 4 only (we have reasons for this - it's not because we're lazy)
Pyre: There was a sporadic issue with MyWi Wifi Tethering on 4.60.3 for iOS <= 4.2.1. It's fixed in 4.60.4 (you can add intelliborn.com/beta4 for the "early" version and it'll be in ModMyi's Cydia repo in a few hours)

hi recently after the update mywi 4.0 doesn't seem to connect to my win 7 x64 anymore. Its giving me an error when i run diagnostics. the error states that the adhoc dosnt have an ip or a proper ip. whats going on??? this was just working before this update!!!!!

4.60.4 is having the same issue. i can not use wifi tethering only usb tethering.

I would have to say that MyWi support is outstanding, they are being very helpful in trying to correct my issues with the ondemand. Hopefully they can get it corrected soon.

this is to funny. that is the first thing i did with the previous update 4.60.3, but i didnt even think to do that with 4.60.4 i think my frustration just got the better of me. im using 4.60.4 right now as i write this. running smooth. now as for infrastructure mode that is only available on Verizon or is it when i update to 4.3 i will get that option as well?

psuskeels ROCKS!!!! he has fixed most of the problem that I had on demand works now it just needs to be available after a reboot and it will work like it did before the update. Thank you!!!

z3r01: It does allow location data on any iDevice running 4.3 (iPad and iPad 2 etc running 4.3 (iPhone hotspot must be running iPhone 4.3+ (not 4.2.6+).

I have an iphone 4 that i use to play xbox live. I updated mywi and I thought that after updating it i would be able to start a xbox live party because its using infrastructure mode but its not letting me start one and invite my friends. Does anybody know how to fix it or if it's even possible to start a xbox live party with the infrastructure mode.

-my frinds are also using mywi but they haven't updated it because of tethered jailbreak and because they own a 3gs.

Ahh so that's why the toggle never worked. I just recently updated to 4.3.3. The toggle works great, it's so nice to finally have it.
One bit of criticism: you have to enable wifi before the mywi toggle or it won't start the first time. In the event that wifi is not on, can we get the toggle to turn wifi on by itself before mywi starts, and then turn it back off when the toggle is turned off? Just a bit of feedback, I think that would really clean the process up.
