Default MyWi Auto Fix Tethering Problem

I misunderstood the auto fix tethering problem. I thought it would automatically turn tethering back on after turning miwi off (I have to do that manually every time).

Since using auto fix tethering, I'm unable to tether via bluetooth. I can pair but I can't connect (I get connection refused).

What does the auto fix tethering button do and can I reverse its effects via ssh?

it just re-enables the tethering option (or so I think)

I have a similar issue as well.
I never had the tether option (on/off) in settings.
I tried mywi and did the auto fix but no go. So I uninstalled it.
I know have the tether option in settings
Here is my problem. I think it has something to do with the autofix from mywi. In sbsettings if I turn off edge then my 3g stops working. no safari, email, no apps connect to internet even though 3g shows to be on and I have an IP. as soon as I turn on edge then 3g works fine.
In the mywi folder there is a checkedmms file that when opened with notepad has a "1" in it.
I wish I knew exactly what this autofix did and how to undo it.
