MyWi has rendered my Wifi broken

Hi, I just purchased MyWi for my Iphone 3gs with 3.1.2 Jailbroken.

Never had a problem with Wifi before. It seems that MyWi works perfectly fine, however I can no longer use just my regular wifi. Even if MyWi is totally off. I have tried rebooting and airplane mode on and off, etc. Can anyone help me with this problem? It is unable to find any networks or connected to them it just looks like its searching for a second when I enable wifi and then gives up. I have tried to connect manually to no avail either.

I feel your pain..every since I got my 3rd phone(the other 2 burned up-I now think it was the wifi chip)...I use to be on 3.0.1 but I got my 3rd phone...upgraded, JB w/ blackra1n3 and all was good except no wifi...I tried all of the hints and fixes from this site and others...reset,reboot,pushfix, you name it and I tried it....seems to me and others that there is a conflict with some phones/and or wifi chips with FW 3.1.2...maybe a bad batch of phones..I dont know..but there are 1000's
who have lost wifi..go to apple/user discussions and you will see just how many....geohot says its not his JB and I believe him and he has a link on his blog to all the upgraders who cant connect with wifi......so try all the methods(search this site) they work for some but they never did for me..Im wifi-less and using 3G which is pretty fast in my area...I called Apple and have a case file..Im sure if I restore and do all that and I still dont get wifi they will send me a new phone but Im tired of that already....that will be my last resort...but Apple will gladly give you a refurbished phone cause they know there is a big problem with many many phones out there..Im on my 3rd and some people on the Apple forum are on the 4th!...glta

You know what I was just googling around and I found a fix that works. I see you mention push fix and maybe this is the same one but it did work for me!

"I thought my WiFi problems were resolved, but they were back when I woke up this morning. I was just about to restore, and then I found a package in Cydia (Push Fix) that fixes the WiFi, Youtube, and GPS problems after caused by blacksn0w.

Here's specific directions:
Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add > http://cydia.iphoneil.net/ > Search > Push Fix > Install > Reboot

So far, so good for me...
EDIT: Push Fix does fix the WiFi problem, but it breaks IM Push."

been there..done that......but let me know if your wifi acts up again..I have a feelin it will..but Im glad it worked for you.

Hey. If you go to Cydia and search MyWi click on it, then click Modify in the top right, then choose Remove or whatever. Then shut of yer iPod and turn it back on. Then your iPod's WiFi should work. It worked for me.
