Tether via USB on windows?

Been trying to search around. It seems there Is not a posted 'how to' using mywi, and setting up computer for use with it.

My mac sees the bluetooth, wifi, and usb just fine. works a charm.

My Laptop PC only sees Bluetooth and Wifi, NO USB.

The reason I want this is not for my laptop though, but for a Home PC. This unit does not have WiFi or BT built in. I would be relying on the USB connection only.

I figured this should be as simple as plug and play, but that seems to not have worked.

It detects the iphone and show me pictures yadda, but it does not detect it as a USB modem.

Now I have been trying to see if there is anything I need to get this working on a windows system, but no posts that I have found seem to help my situation. (Kinda surprised the makers dont have some kinda website for how to's)

Im almost tempted to just go with PDANet since I know they do have customer support, and it is a program based connection on the computer end... But Id rather use this because of price, wifi abilities. (But only if I can get it working USB as well....)

Ive tested vista 64, vista 32, and win7 64 with no luck. mac OS X Snow knew exactly what to do with it and all of it worked. USB/BT/WiFi.

Works fine for me, I just click the USB and Blueooth button on and !bing, network connection detected. Windows XP and 7 Ultimate.

Hm, Guess I can try to uninstall and reinstall again. Perhaps from cydia though I fail to see if that should make a difference. But yeah, none of my boxes detect anything other then an iPhone connected

Mac works though, which makes me wonder why it would nps but not my pcs. *ponder*

Yeah fresh install didn't help anything. Did plug it back into mac just to make sure, all still good there. must be an OS thing, but 3 different computers same issue seems off.

I do have Wifi off, and USB/BT on atm.

Ill keep shopping for answer and keep searching, but may just do pdanet in the meantime. Think theirs is a trial too.

Which ever works at the end of my 8 days for Mywi gets my money I guess heh.

Ok, it seems since i did not have iTunes installed on any of my pc's, it was not working. I see that it included all the drivers and what not needed for this to work.

Didnt really think to try this as I did not see an application install taking care of my drivers heh.
I just assumed that windows would install them all when I plugged it in, but it only does the camera based ones I guess. Silly me thinking windows would do something right.

I hope my stupidity helps someone else out having problems
