iPhone: 3gs on pwnaged/unlocked OS 3.1.2, with 3G Unrestrictor installed, which I heard may cause issues (confirm?). Other Cydia apps installed are: Backgrounder, iFile, SBSettings, PkgBackup, AttachmentSaver, Safari Download Manager, Voicemail Forwarder, MakeItMine, dTunes, MxTube. I also have several of the Telesphoreo unix terminal utilities installed, like nano, syslog, etc.
Previously I posted about mywi wifi tether not ever working, even though the USB/BT tethering did.
Today I noticed that call volume was extremely low. Rock Your Phone and Mywi were the last things i installed, but I didn't make a definite connection until I rebooted the phone, and got Rock's 'Possible Conflict' message: "Rock Your Phone detected an issue on your iPhone. If you are experiencing a persistent error - please try disabled each Rock extension under Settings -> Rock Extension" etc.
The only Rock extension was Mywi. I disabled it and rebooted, but still had the volume problem. I then removed Mywi from Rock, then removed Rock Your Phone from Cydia. Then Cydia's respring following the 'successful' uninstall of RYP hung, and I hard powered down the phone. Reboot took about 3 times as long, but it did reboot, and the volume was back to normal.
And, the USB/BT tethering was left enabled, which was nice.
I'm not sure if the 3G Unrestrictor is causing the problem, or if it's a conflict with Rock Your Phone or Mywi or both, but in it's current state the Mywi application appears 100% unusable on my phone. FYI I have no other issues on my phone. Any Help?
I have also suddenly experienced a software conflict of the same nature. Im on an iphone3g everything fully updated. The only ROCK app I use is MyWi, and rock is detecting conflicts.
USB tethering is still enabled though only through the networks tab in the settings menu.
Whas odd in my case is that yesterday MyWi worked fine. I uploaded no software since then. Today while tethering the phones power was depleted and it shut down. Upon conecting to a power source and rebootinig a conflict was noted, I am now required to disable rock apps every time I boot.
I proceded with reboots, re-installs of rock and wifi, and the problem has not been remedied.
I find this extremely odd for the record. Please advize.
P.S. great App, #1 in my books
