Does "RockApp" run as a daemon? If it does, do I get 2 daemon processes running if I turned on MyWi from Rock Extension? Sorry if my questions are dumb...

RockApp is not a daemon... it's an app store. WHen you turn on MiWi and turn on wifi hot spot or tethering it will run in the background.

So no process runs in the background when rock extension from RockApp is set to "on" AND hotspot/tethering from within MyWi is set to OFF, right?
PdaNet does run in the background even if it is not opened...

It's my understanding that the purpose of the Rock Extensions program is so that you may disable all installed extensions at once, for troubleshooting purposes, but that it isn't running anything unto itself. It is simply a master on/off switch for all the other extensions (Intelliscreen, MyProfiles, MyWi, Elert, Tlert, etc).
