turning data off

I want to turn 3g data off while im at work or home as i connect to wifi, but when i select 3g, it turns of my radio signal?

Turns off radio signal? Do you mean the phone can't make or receive calls?

correct, the signal bars top right go completely, i cannot send sms, call etc

Have you installed anything from Cydia recently? If so, uninstall and try again.
What carrier?

Since first installed yes i have installed other bits, i have un-installed and reinstalled it myprofiles
Its definitely turning the radio off rather than 3g. and i was pretty sure they were two different things. u dont need 3g to make a call.

Be good if someone could test turning "3g" off and see if the same happens

Some carriers require you to have 3G enabled, even if you don't have a data connection. Solo Mobile in Canada has that. Turn off 3G and you lose cell signal.

I have used SBSSettings to disable data (3g) and sms, calls etc all work fine. So i dont think its that.
