sms alert works only once

My sms alert is set to repeat every 30 seconds for 6 hours (the maximum) but it will repeat only on receipt of the sms and then once more (30 seconds later) and then it doesn't repeat after that. HELP!!!

Same problem with my email alert. It's set to repeat every 5m for 6h. It alerts on receipt and then 5m later. Then, nothing.

Just downloaded the app, so I'm running the most recent version as of 9/17.

This problem remains at least for email in the most recent version of myProfiles on iOS 4.1.
