Alerts without an icon

Hi,
I have a little feature request. It would be great if you'd make it possible to create custom alerts without this red icon in the status bar. I have created special email alert for one of my accounts and the sound+vibration would be perfectly enough - I don't need this icon with red box

Agreed, all it is, is an eyesore that is a pain to actually touch and get to respond!
