profile groups and disable profile

Hello:

1. How can you disable a profile but NOT delete it? Some of the default profiles are interesting, I will keep for reference but I don't want them on.

2. How can you create a profile group? I would like to have a set of profiles that would be in use most of the time. However, if I am on-call I need my phone to act like a pager and everything needs to be different. I can't have my normal night profile kick in on those special days. I would need a different grouping of profiles.
