Thread: Screen-lock blocks timed profile switching?

Default Screen-lock blocks timed profile switching?
    Greetings everyone.

IMHO, I find MyProfiles a promising app.
So far, it seems to fit my needs except for 1 key issue.
Basically, I've defined a few custom profiles (day, night, airplane mode) and configured them to be triggered based on time schedule.

Unfortunately, the profiles do not seem to switch automatically.
I'm suspecting that the screen-lock has blocked the switch.
After I swipe to unlock my iPhone, the profile switching kicks in immediately.

Anyone has encountered a similar issue?
    I would welcome any suggestion to rectify this. Thanks. :}
Honestly, I'm very close to purchasing this app. 4 more days of evaluation to go.

FYI, my device is a 3GS on 3.01 (Jailbroken). one else has similar issue?
I've uninstalled and re-installed MyProfiles 2 times but the issue persists.

I think you are partly right.
    I also mentioned that issue.
But i think there is sometime a delay of a few minutes,
if the phone isn't in use on the specific time, when
    the profile should be changes.

    These are my experience:
Sometimes the profile will be switched right now,
and sometimes there is a delay.
But i have never mentioned, that the profile-change
    doesn't work.

I can confirm that profiles don't switch properly when the iPhone is locked (screen-lock).

BTW great application but still with bugs

I saw the same problem and other issues unstable, crash,....

I tried Auto Silent app, it's much stable. You can define custom schedule, custom profile, syncs with calendar.... and it works. I haven't found any issue yet. Works like a charm!!!
