duplicates songs

Hi everyone
here is one question I have, why do I end up with
duplicate songs in my Iphone 3g\ipod app?
Another is why do I get a "bell" ringing, at no set time
and I have no alarms set, and I am not on the cell or wifi
at the time

its most likely because you have duplicate songs in your itunes library.

Nice try, but I only downloaded the song one time, so
how did they duplicate?
I had to go thru and delete each one...
then it was alright on the Iphone...
