Questions about video converting

In the past I have used Cucusoft's DVD to iPhone conversion software, and on my iPhone, i was able to change the video from letterbox to pan/scan (where it would fill up the entire screen) by just tapping the iphone's screen. However, I tried using IMtoo 5 for iphone and I like the interface better. However, it only seems to let me go from letterbox to widescreen - no pan/scan. Is there a setting that I am not thinking of that I need to switch?

I dunno, but use winavi..its the best...you can change many aspects of the quality settings to optimize the quality of the video as well as minimize it's size!
