that may work for dvd formats (ts folders etc) and those formats but trying to convert regular old wmv's, avi's, and mov's i cant for the life of me get them to upload to the iphone 3g, this is what i want to know if you have done... and as i said i also am using Videora Ipod Converter... but even though it says the latest version works for iphone 3g it doesnt have an option for that in the format selections...has iphone 1g, 2g, and a host of other iproducts but not iphone 3g.

drakki and mrodawg, so youve done this and uploaded to a iphone 3g? or are you talking about older iphones?
07-30-2008, 08:54 AM #10
Wingtip, the 3G plays video just fine, you're obviously doing something wrongTo live, you have to lie

I know it plays video fine, if you buy it from itunes, which ive done... but no matter what options i choose in both the programs i mentioned itunes wont upload/sync it to the phone... it uploads my mp3 files just fine... so instead of just saying im doing something wrong how about helping with some specifics? Is it cause im trying to run those two in vista? Thats about the only thing i havent tried yet is running it in compatible mode for xp...

Yes i`m talking about the 3G , i have the 16GB version with T-Mobile Contract.
I have download Free-Software and that was totally crap.
Allways i get the "The Video is not playable oh the iPhone from iTunes"..
I give the Xilisoft converter a try and it worked.
Good or not is everyones personally opinion.
I`m not a one-post-wonder .. but i´m new to this forum, and Thanks for this extremly friendly Welcome! If all of the new ones to the forum are welcome in this way ... no wonder that they are one-post-wonder...

Yes i´m new and yes i´ll try to help. i don´t recommend to buy any software!
This Software is free to try on the homepage from xilisoft. so you don´t have to pay a buck. Whats the problem ? It´s only a try to help. If any other tool help him out its ok.
ok kid ?
btw... i´m to old to be a kid

One sure fire way to properly format is to feed the video into iTunes, then while in itunes, right-click on it and select "Convert file for use with iPhone"Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

Whats your problem ?
free for testing, right ... if this is a full version without a limit it not a testing purpose or ?
He has a problem , if he test this software and its ok for him ..fine ....if not also ok.
it might be there are some people they pay for software that fits and other not...also ok.
i said , if any other free software helps him its ok ...
he should only try to see if there is another problem ...when not ok.
you are allways rail about that software .... what are you using for converting ?
try to help him and not "download this or that at torrent" ...
Hey , where is my new nickname ?
btw ... should i name some other software ?
avex, videora, wondershare, aimersoft .... better ?
