    Default need help converting video!

I have a few videos from my friend. I want to convert it into AVI files. I tried a couple of free software yesterday, but they were no good and their output was horrible. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

Does videora have video/audio out of sync issues? The program I'm using now (Xilisoft iPhone Converter) has been causing me problems as of late.

Seems the "audio sync" is a bit of a problem with most programs on the net so far.. i've tried most of them only to find the audio be a second or so out of sync with the image.. I'm running a trial version of the cucusoft product and it seems to be fairly consistant and produces a good output.
So many apps.. so little time!

    do you use Mac OS?
If so, i'd advise you to try wondershare video converter for mac, which i was recommended to not long ago.
it works perfectly on my Mac machine.
hope it can help you too.
