Rip DVD and convert to iPhone

Hi,
I have been using HandBrake to convert my movies to iPhone format.But I have a problem with 1 DVD.If I insert it,it shows as a folder with a minus sign on the desktop.On clicking it ,it shows no contents at all.How do I convert this using Handbrake?

If you havnt had problems in the past, you may be experiencing a DVD with a different kind of DRM. The first time you inserted it into your comp it may have installed a small program on your computer that keeps applications like handbrake from accessing it. Try DVD43. It blocks DVDs and CDs from installing those malicious programs when inserted (a step beyond disabling autoplay). Hope that helped!

You may also want to consider using Dvd Decrypter to rip the disc to your hard drive and remove any protection then.I don`t use handbrake but rather Dvd Fab and have had no problems.

Others have made suggestions, so i will just add one to the list:

dvdfab

i use dvdfab and dvd decrypter and have never not been able to convert a dvd, i usually rip 3-5 dvds at a time and use handbrake to convert all of them at once, but a few times i had to use dvdfab to convert strait to mp4 format since none would rip the dvd.

i use dvd decrypter and then this to convert it

but makes them about average 500-600mb. I'd like to get them smaller if I could

Handbreak is suppose to be the best, but there are a few other good ones.
