Greetings from the New Guy

Greetings! I'd like to take this initial post to introduce myself to the Apple news community! My name is Matt Savoca, and I've recently been added to the writing staff here at Modmyi.

Now, I never have found these online introductions to be very interesting or useful, and I'm not even very good at describing myself in person, let alone online, but I'll give it a shot nonetheless.

For starters, I'm a young’un, a student living in NYC, although originally from suburban Washington, DC. I like music as much as the next guy, great food more than that, I'm a Redskins fan (very hard these days) and I'm a self-proclaimed theatre buff. But most importantly, I'm super-passionate about tech, gadgets, and how it can improve our daily life. And I don't think many companies fill that passion better than Apple. I guess that's why I'm here. I believe that technology should be untapped to reach it's full potential, which is why I'm a huge fan of jailbreaking. It opens up a world of possibilities on all technology, especially Apple's. Not to mention, I think the jailbreak community (sub-culture) is a really awesome one, You know how it goes:

*friendship ensues*

So, while having 6 icons on my dock probably didn't help me get a girlfriend, it has gotten me here, and I'm excited to share my passion by searching the interwebs and finding the latest and greatest Apple info out there, and writing about it on the site.
