iPhone 7 Has the worst battery life compared to rivals.
Apple claimed on stage that the new 4.7-inch iPhone 7 offers up to two additional hours of battery life compared to last year’s iPhone 6s, and tests have definitely shown an improvement in this key area. But even with improvements over last year’s iPhone, the iPhone 7 still falls embarrassingly short of rival handsets where battery performance is concerned.

These battery tests are all BULL CRAP. No one talks on their phone for 15 hours or continually watch movies for 12 hours. In the real world, it's all mixed usage PLUS standby with at the least wifi, and cellular radios on, notifications, and many background processes from apps. These all drain battery.
In my personal experience with 5 Android devices (Note 2, Nexus 4, Nexus 7, G2, G3), all of them have terrible battery life compare to their Apple counterparts at the time. Going to forums, you'd get the same problems with other users. Sure, it may be some program doing something it shouldn't or some background process from the OS that I "needed" to stop. Thing is, I've never ever had to do this with my iPhones or iPads. Heck, my iPad 2 and 3 still can be on standby for 2 weeks+ and 3 days+ of normal usage (2-4 hours of games, movies, and web a day).
I'm an active user and my 6 Plus very rarely needs a charge before I sleep. All the Androids I've had would need charge before dinner and sometime even mid day.
This is real world usage. Not some highly controlled environment running a program loop.

Second charge was around 18 hours with around 10% left, I never leave my phone unplugged when I go to sleep but it got better because the amount of power left is now more and more.
I leave a charger and a cable in my car so I would not be without one, just to be on the safe side.
Oh! For some reason my data connection to the network sucks with 7 Plus compared to my 6 plus, I just had to do a full power down to get it back up and working. First power down to get it functioning already and I had the phone less than 2 weeks.
