New AT&T data plans effective 1.22.12.....more expensive

Everyone is grandfathered in that has a plan currently but we all know how that goes...

They should have a 1GB plan for $20 now just 300MB.

AT&T Data Plus 300MB: $20 for 300MB
AT&T Data Pro 3GB: $30 for 3GB
AT&T Data Pro 5GB: $50 for 5GB, with mobile hotspot / tethering

My bill is $20 more expensive. I first started with AT&T in January 2010 and got the white iPhone 4 when I became eligible for a new phone in June 2011. Shouldn't I be grandfathered into the old data plan? I am not paying $115 a month! I would rather pay the termination fee and go with Sprint.
