iOS 4.3 Jailbreak – Sn0wBreeze 2.3beta – 3

iH8sn0w has released Sn0wbreeze 2.3b1 for Windows users.

It allows those who already have a pre-jailbroken iOS device to update to 4.3 iOS with Jailbreak (pre – jailbroken).

Users will be able to Jailbreak as well as preserve their baseband and then unlock the device with ultrasn0w
With Sn0wbreeze user can create a custom firmware with “Baseband Preservation Mode” working for iPhone 4 users on baseband 01.59.00 or earlier and iPhone 3G/iPhone 3GS users on baseband 05.13.04 or earlier).

Sn0wbreeze 2.3 supports the following devices:
iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS iPhone 3G
Verizon iPhone 4
iPod touch 4G
iPod Touch 3G
iPad

Ok so how does snow breeze work? I've never used it to jb. I am currently on 4.2.1 jb,so from reading this it means I can jb using this without having to restore? Can someone explain the update process? Thanks in advance

Sn0wBreeze creates a custom ipsw which you need to restore to.
It is similar to pwnage in that respect.
This is still beta and iH8Sn0w is doing a great job of fixing issues - but not everything is patched so not everything works.
It is nowhere near as bad as 1.x but still is not an ideal solution.
Pwnage or RedSn0w are better.
I am using Sn0wBreeze on my iPad but cannot recommend it umless you know and are prepared to live with the limitations. If you don't know what they are then please steer clear.
