AT&T To Buy T-Mobile for 39 Billion
AT&T to acquire T-Mobile from Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion | BGR
Wonder if people that have unlimited data with T-Mobile will be grandfathered?

It may take up to perhaps a year for this all to happen is what I was reading on another blog. But for me, this is great news if it all transpires. Yippee

I sure hope we are Grand Fathered in with our current rate plan, that would be nice for me. But no matter, this still is great news for me, very cool.

For me, I'll believe it when it happens. Just hope it does. No more chasing and unlock every time a firmware update happens is a dream come true for me.

I'm sorry but I don't share your enthusiasm. I think most T-Mobile customers will find this merger with AT&T disturbing. Most of us went with T-Mobile not because they had the best coverage, but because we didn't want to pay the exorbitant monthly fees for talk, text and data that AT&T and Verizon charge.

I think it is a waste of money, because of consumer field. They aren't developing for the consumer. All they want is to be big, million $alaries, corporate mumbo-jumbo, although it should improve coverage AT&T already bought a billion dollar chunk of 3G coverage and speed last year as part of their "Expansion" plan. They are wasting money when they should be developing software fixes, and consumer products all they're doing is money, expanison corporate mumbo-jumbo. They aren't even building new towers for coverage in rural areas. In my point of view AT&T has just wasted 39 billion dollars.
