Geohot to release 4.3/4.2.1 unlock & untethered JB?

Recently in a chat with geohot, the renowned iPhone and ps3 hacker, veence got some interesting information out of geohot in an irc chat saying that he may be releasing an unlock as well as untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3 and 4.2.1 not only for the iPhone 4 but for the whole apple family of iDevices. According to the chat, the unlock and jailbreak are ready to be released it an ETA has not been given yet. It seems fairly real to me. Musclenerd said on his twitter that it's either geohot or a really good impersonator because of the way he talked. Let me know what you think of the chat log.

I'm surprised he was so open for being such a behind the scenes kinda guy. I hope it's true and it was him, I love his style. He just cocky and has every right to be.

I'm pretty sure it is but there's no evidence to confirm it. Musclenerd said on his twitter he thinks it's geohot or a really good Impersonator. Only time will tell.

That being said, I'd like to believe that you were talking to him, but am not sure.



Oh, and I have had problems with his JB's. Usually the first and second releases.
