iPhone 3GS memory

I recently jailbreaked two 3GS, I notices something odd when I opened sbsettings. With the ios 4 update I was showing 103mb of storage, with 3.1.3 I had 260mb of storage. 100 is real low, is this normal and does any one has this issue. I know ios4 brought lots of goodies, but wow it took lots more memory. I am showing "storage 100mb on /20000mb var. It just seems really low, please confirm this is normal for 3GS on ios 4. Thanks!

that's normal. with stuff installed I'm sitting at 94mb
