I doubt we will be waiting to much longer. All this talk about 4.0.1 is nothing until Apple says they are officially going to release it. Seeing how they have not said that, the jailbreak will proceed. I say within a week, but thats just me hoping

I would say that the dev-team are not going to make us wait :-) they are the good guys. I bet they have the updated pwnage tool to JB iphone 4 already working, they just wanted to wait for the unlock instead of doing another release when the unlock is available

But they already finished the jailbreak. Now they have to make the unlock user-friendly and wait for iOS 4.0.1
