I totally agree... give the customer the option to turn on multitasking with a pop-up warning about severely decreased battery life.

How true is this?! My battery doesn't last already and then I am going to throw multi-tasking on top of that? Nope!

Mine does fine with multitasking. I use it all day at work. But I quess with what apps it's used with will determine the battery usage. No complaints here though.

I'm not sure if the source can be trusted but it would be a long-awaited feature from Apple.

There are no references to it in the 3.2 SDK. If they are supporting multitasking in 4.0 then they are keeping it buttoned up until the 4.0 SDK
