BREAKING: New iPhone 3GS's in jeopardy of untethered jailbreak due to new bootrom!
There is a new iPhone 3GS Bootrom, iBoot-359.3.2.

MuscleNerd has tweeted about an hour ago about cpich3g finding out that newer iPhone 3GS' have a new iBoot that the 24kpwn exploit doesn't work with!

"oh oh, from what @cpich3g + @Mathieulh have found so far, a normal untethered JB may be in jeopardy in brand new 3GS units" -MuscleNerd

I gotcha now sorry haha so in other words you might not be able to jailbreak on 3Gs purchased in the near future.
