Push not working on 3Gs?
People are reporting that Push notifications are no longer working on FW3.0x
If this happens and you reset your Network settings it puts your phone in Recovery mode and on a 3Gs this means you are forced to restore to 3.1
If you value your JB or want to Unlock this is very bad news.
I would live without Push rather than risk it.He who asks a question looks foolish for 5 minutes. He who doesn't ask a question remains foolish forever.

My 3Gs is still on 3.0 jailbroken with Purplera1n and push is still working perfectly. I just received a pushed message as I'm typing this up so everything is still good on my 3Gs.
After reading all of these posts of people that have been forced to update I'm pulling out my 3G to use until the jailbreak is released just to make sure nothing happens to my 3Gs that will force me to restore. I recommend anyone that still has they're 3G to do the same.160GB iPod Classic

I've done a reset network settings several times on my 3GS and it never goes into recovery mode.

^ Yeh, I've never gone into recovery mode after Resetting either

how do you reset your network settings? my phone isnt jailbroken but the push isnt working on my 3g since i upgraded to 3.1

Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
