That's why I put a screen protector on mine as soon as it came out of the box
Have they released the jailbreak in the app store yet?

That's interesting to hear, as I haven't put a screen protector over mine because I didn't want to defeat the purpose of the "fancy" screen. I've had my 3GS for a week now and no scratches, but I keep it in a holster and never in my pocket where the screen could come into contact with anything.
The screen is unbelievably easy to wipe clean, by the way -- yet another reason I don't want to put a protector on it if I can avoid it.
I'm curious to hear what other 3GS owners are encountering.

Hmm...
Idk, I don't have a screen protector on my screen, and my phone goes in and out of my pocket tons of times a day, and I have no scratches at all...

lotta claims that 3g screen was mostly safe, too. mine scratch in two places a month after i bought it. put a Bodyguardz on my 3GS before I even started organizing home screen. strongly suggest some kind of screen protector.

Love the new screen. My left pocket is my case - nothing but the phone in there!
