Non-Apple batteries for 13" white MacBook
Sorry if this has been posted before, I tried to search but the search function here isn't working right now.
The battery on my 13" white MacBook is getting pretty bloated and warped, so I need to find a new one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a 3rd party battery? I'm guessing there's a good, cheaper alternative to the Apple batteries, but I couldn't really find any reviews out there.

Killer, thanks. You think they're better than the stock Apple batteries?

If its not TOO far out beyond warranty, you might have some luck getting Apple to replace it.

Batteries aren't usually covered by the same level of warranty as the rest of the unit,
but they've caught some grief over bulging/leaking scary batteries in macbooks before.
If its > 3 years old, you're probably out of luck.
If its < 3 years, its at the discretion of the GeniusBar guys.
< 1 year, they'll probably just replace it)

It's actually about 4 years old, so I doubt Apple will replace it. But I'm going to try before I buy something.
