Hey, do you guys think this is fine for a hard drive upgrade? Like, it'll fit into my macbook; 250.0GB Toshiba 5400RPM 9.5MM SuperSlim SATA... (MK2565GSX) at OWC , looking to upgrade my mac since the harddrive / ram only at 80gb's / 1gb and thats WAY to small. Just looking to upgrade the hard drive atm, ram later. (MacBook 2,1 Late 06' model). Thanks!
You should have no problems putting a 9.5mm HDD into your macbook You could go as high say 500 or whatever odd sizes there are. As long as it is 9.5mm. As far as the RAM goes, check to make sure that it is the same type your Mac uses.
Haha yeah I know i found a 750gb hdd, but I have no need for that, I'm a music guy but i dont need 700 gigs of music, let alone 250, i just want a big hard drive cause I dont want myn to run out & for ram, just want a faster computer
If you want a faster computer i could recommend getting a faster hard drive. Standard rpm is 5400 i think. I put a 500GB 7200 rpm HDD in my Mac and noticed an immediate increase in performance.
