So i thought i would post here because not sure where else i could put it, I am at uni at the moment studying multimedia. And i have a video camera which connects via firewire to computer is there anyone who could point me in the right direction of connecting this video camera to a new macbook?

will i need to upgrade the camcorder ?? could anyone recommend a camera which i could use??
