Just Purchased My First Macbook!
Hello everyone,
After being a PC user for the past 5 years, i have finally decided to purchase my first mac! I was just looking for some advice on what programs to download for maximum security and protection. I want to keep my Mac running in top shape, and I'm pretty much in the dark when it comes to good anti-virus and cleaning programs for mac computers. Any help will be appreciated!

They got a thread on it all on here i been a pc user for about 6 years. Just got a MacBook pro for Christmas love every thing about it. Still learning new stuff ever day

Think you could turn to the Mac App Store, to get the Free or not Free apps for your MacBook.
There are some nice apps worth keep.Life is like music. It must be composed by ear, feeling and instinct, not by rule.

Try Avira, Macfee and bitdefendar its best one for your Macbook.
