    Default Possible to transfer HDD?
I currently have a MacBook Pro with a 500GB drive. Thinking of getting a Mac mini, but because I have so many modifications and files on my hard drive, I thought it would be simpler to simply put my current hard drive into the Mac mini. Is that possible? In other words; would the Mac mini have any problems running off the hard drive that's currently in my MacBook Pro?

    Thanks.

They shouldn't have any issues. The mini uses the same 2.5 SATA drives. The only problem you could run into is an OS issue. Newer machines will only boot into Lion so if your old drive has snow leopard on it you will not be able to start up from it in the new computer.

    Hope this helps
