So... I've re-installed Snow Leopard... most issues have gone away now I'm just waiting for 6.2 for the big shabang, and maybe it will even fix the problems I'm about to complain about.. But in the off case it doesn't I'd like to be ahead of the game here..
Annnyways.. These are my problems after reinstalling Snow Leopard(twice(goddamn case sensitivity)):

- Video chats still are unbearably slow.
- Aperture still runs like molasses in winter.
- Anything "graphics" related is hard to look at.

(Plus a bunch of other random crashes and bugs that I wont bother getting into right now)
I'm beginning to think it's not a problem with my software, but a problem with my hard ware. I got this computer from a friend, who traded me for my MacBook.. I thought, hell; it's a Pro, it has to be better. They warned me it was slow, but I thought it was because they had 512MB of RAM and 2GB of hard drive space left.. I think I was wrong. Has anyone heard of Macbook Pro's(non-unibody) Version 1,1 having any issues with the graphics card? I have the.. ATY,RadeonX1600 with 128MB of VRAM. Any issues on these chips? Is there any way I can test if what I think I'm experiencing actually real?
