    Talking Ordered Macbook Pro :)
Hey guys, I just ordered my Macbook Pro finally
I was lucky to, as there was a 10% discount on all mac's at the time .

    15-inch: 2.8GHz
    Intel Core 2 Duo
    4GB Memory/RAM
    500GB hard drive @ 7200 rpm
    NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 512MB
So really the only upgrade from the 2.8 GHz model was the harddrive to 7200 rpm.

I got it for a price of AU$3400.
    What do you's think?

Congradulation. I just got my 13" Macbook Pro about a week ago and I am very very happy with it. I wanted the 15" but could only come up with $1200. O well I love it just the same. Have fun and don't kill yourself waiting on it.... lol

Argh, I got the October 2008 Unibody model and thus suffered 2GB of RAM, 5400 RPM, and 256MB Nvidia 9600M GT. >.< However I can upgrade 2 of those 3 parts.

Oh, and also, congratulations, you will not be disappointed, MacBook Pro's are fantastic machines. The fans are virtually silent! Great for if you're working late at night and need to make it look like you're computer wasn't running and hop into bed. That's what I like it anyway.

Oh, Mac is so much better than Windows, but you probably know that by now. Damn, 1-2 weeks, I feel for you man, you can probably barely fall asleep at night haha.

    No prob mate.

Adium- best chat client ever, compatible with just about everything.
    Quicksilver- Timesaver application.
    Onyx- Speed up you're Mac.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you're going to start using keyboard shortcuts a lot, Command-Q is quit, Command-W is close window. You'll start to love using them, always set hotkeys for frequently used applications too, that's really all I can say for now mate.

CandyBar is very fun, I use it every month to give my Mac a new look.

Very true on the Once you buy a Mac, you'll never go back, unless you want to do some hardcore gaming with your Windows friends.

Nice shot, I like the black and blue, and yes, my apologies too, Lach!

I'll have to do the same thing with a wallpaper when I get married!

Those hanging wallpapers are too cool. Is it hard to change them?
