Which would you reccommend?
Hey guys,
Im just about to buy a 15-inch Macbook Pro, but I cant decide if I should get the 2.53 or 2.66 GHz model. This computer needs to last me a fairly long time, around 5 years, but is the .13 GHz worth the $300 difference? Thanks

The only difference you'll notice is in your wallet. Spend the $300 more wisely

Ahhh, Ajl917 your holding out on the facts. And I didnt bother to pull the actual specs

However if its just also HDD space....for $300 you could get a great portable drive.

Here are the specs.
MacBook Pro, 15", Aluminum
- 2.53 GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM- 2x2GB
- 320 GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
- SuperDrive 8x
Total: $1,768
or
MacBook Pro, 15", Aluminum
- 2.66 GHz, Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM- 2x2GB
- 320GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
- Superdrive 8x
Total: $2,018
So its the exact same specs except for .13 GHz...

yeah, if the only difference is the .13 GHz then I would save the $300.
You will never notice the difference
