Default My mac mini server as icloud?
    Hi

I was wondering if there is a way to use my mac mini server with os server on it as a icloud server for my iphone & co.

As apple is charging for the 20 Gb update i was wondering if there is a way to get my own icloud, with contacts, apps, messages, photos... Storage just like apples icloud?

That would be tricky. Contacts and calendars are no problem, but everything else requires iCloud. App data, photostream, etc. The messages service only works if people configure the account separately. Mac OS X Server supports WebDAV, but most apps won't sync their data via WebDAV.

Try backing up your iOS devices through iTunes, thus freeing the backup storage from iCloud.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!
