Mute Your Mac's Startup Sound
If your tired of hearing the familiar startup sound every time you turn on your Mac? Not every Mac allows you to turn the startup sound off. With this program now you can shut the sound off.
By the way it works with both intel and PPC Macs.

And once its installed... under your system preferences you will be able to set your settings..
