    Default File transfer from pc to mac??
    I finally gotta MacBook and I don't feel like downloading all my stuff over. Is there away to connect to my pc from my mac and I can just copy the files?

    use an external hd and just copy the stuff over.

    You can do this using expensive software, a portable hard drive, a usb jump drive, or many other methods. This guide is designed to show you how to use an Ethernet cable.
    All you need is a PC, a Mac, and a normal Ethernet cable. Some help guides will tell you you need a crossover Ethernet cable: however, all Macs that are younger than a few years old will not need this.
